OCSD School Board

school board Meeting information

The School Board Membership for the Oregon City School District is composed of seven publicly elected community members who serve in four-year terms.

Regular Session Board Meetings
The School Board Members meet in regular session on the second Monday of the month to conduct the regular monthly business of the School Board.

Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and are held in the Community Room:

Clackamas Community College, Roger Rook Hall

19600 Molalla Avenue
Oregon City, Oregon 97045
(park in Orange Lots 1 & 2)

The School Board Members are elected at large. In addition, three preferential members provide communication between the School Board and their respective organizations. These are non-voting positions and appointments are for one year.

A student member is also elected through the high school student body election process; and representatives from the Licensed and Classified Staff employee groups are selected by their representative organizations.

The School Board Members set district policy to help the district achieve the goal of success for all students; remain compliant with federal, state, and local laws; and to maintain fiscal responsibility. The School Board Members also hire and supervise the superintendent, whose job is to run the day-to-day operations of the school district and provide educational leadership and vision for teachers and administrators.

Meetings are held at Clackamas Community College in the Roger Rook Hall Community Room, 19600 Molalla Avenue, Oregon City, Oregon 97045 and begin at 7:00 p.m. (Park in Orange Lots 1 & 2)
